Fagron Sterile Services will participate in the FDA's Compounding Quality Center of Excellence Annual Conference, held in a hybrid format from August 21st to 23rd. The theme of the conference is "Learning and Collaborating: Driving Toward the Future of Quality." Deb McHugh, Senior Director of Quality at the Boston location, will once again serve as a panelist, alongside other members of the FSS team, including Andrew Basso, Senior Director of Operations; Philip Smith, Director of Laboratory Services; and Leslie Riding, Senior Training Specialist.

This conference presents a great opportunity for industry leaders to network, share insights, and address trends and patterns in the 503B industry. The event will feature various in-depth sessions highlighting different perspectives on quality, current good manufacturing practice (CGMP) requirements, FDA updates, and a Q&A session with FDA leaders.

The team at FSS will be actively participating in various sessions. On Monday, August 19th, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Andrew Basso, Senior Director of Operations at FSS, will speak on "Developing a New Outsourcing Facility: Lessons Learned." This session will offer valuable insights into the complexities of setting up a new facility.

Deborah McHugh, our Senior Director of Quality at FSS-Boston, will moderate several discussions, including: "Learning and Growth: Successes and Challenges of a Developing Industry" on Wednesday, August 21st, from 1:15 pm to 2:30 pm ET; "Reframing Perspectives through CGMP Training" on Thursday, August 22nd, from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm ET; and "Welcome and Impact of Compliance on Product and Patient" on Friday, August 23rd, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am ET.

Philip Smith, our Director of Laboratory Services, will share his insights as a panelist on "Testing: Industry Perspectives" on Wednesday, August 21st, from 3:45 pm to 4:45 pm ET.

Lastly, Leslie Riding, our Senior Training Specialist, will present strategies for "Developing an Effective Training Program" on Wednesday, August 21st, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm ET.
