Working Together: GPOs and Suppliers Discuss Healthcare Policy
Representatives from Fagron Sterile Services US (FSS) were in Washington D.C. last week to participate in the annual Federation of American Hospitals (FAH) Conference and Business Exposition.
FAH is largely viewed as one of the nation’s foremost policy events, providing industry education on current trends and issues. With a strong commitment to its customers, FSS sees this gathering as an essential informational meeting to participate in high-level discussions involving the American healthcare community.
Former Governor Jeb Bush (FL) and former Mayor Mitch Landrieu (New Orleans), provided the keynote address - a moderated conversation centered around crisis management and leadership in healthcare and politics.
Leaders from the largest Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO’s) such as Vizient, HealthTrust, Premier and Intalere, held breakout sessions emphasizing the importance of working together to find reliable healthcare solutions for patients and providers alike.
